I, sadly, have spent the last 4 days in bed with an upper respiratory infection, a UTI, and then to make things extra exciting, whilst I was at my doctor’s office being treated for all that? …. caught a stomach bug.
Uber Fun.
Today, all systems are a go, but feeling a little weak. Regardless, I’m back to work and ready to start the new years off with a bang.
December numbers:
Start: 167.4
End: 162.2
Month loss: 5.2 lbs.
Losing weight over the holidays? Yep, I’m pretty proud of this accomplishment.
My New Years Resolution: Having No New Year’s Resolution. I know me. I don’t work well under looming long term goals. Goals best suit me in monthly increments. I’m much more successful this way.
January Fitness Goals:
- Try new workout videos from Netflix
- Try new Brazilian Butt video from Christmas <— it’s just too cold to run outside.
- Continue to eat well. High protein, high fruit and veggie, low gluten carbs
- 5 lb loss for January.
January Life Goals:
- Finish and submit paper for end of semester
- Finish video for end of semester
- Keep finances in check. No extras. This is important considering we’ve decided to move into a larger house soon and the expenses will inevitably be upped.
- Finish the fourth and fifth Song of Ice and Fire books.
I think that should do it. Reasonable and Attainable. :)
