** The Road to Slim City **

• How is it that I eat a small 4 oz filet mignon for dinner and weigh 3 pounds more this morning?  

• Why can’t I seem to talk myself into going anywhere near the mall this holiday season.  If it’s there… seriously, no one’s getting it.

• I went to the movies yesterday… which armrest was mine?  cuz that was sorda awkward.   

• Why do we have to work today?  I’m on board with a whole week off at Christmas.  That seems reasonable?

• Why do I tell my girls to stay a kid for as long as they can, yet the minute they do something immature I tell them to grow up?  <— brought to my attention by my “way too smart for her own good” 10 year old.
  

• Why do Tumblrites keep reblogging that Adele Lady Gaga feud gif?  I mean really people?… don’t believe everything you read.  That stupid thing could not be more untrue. 

• Why can’t Scott Avett be my sexy singing bearded love slave?

• Why can’t I seem to find a plain navy blue long-sleeved mini dress?  I’ve looked everywhere. 

• Why do capable, young, non-injured human beings fight over the elevator only to go to the second floor?

Answers would be greatly appreciated.
